We told you the channel was changing… introducing our new website!

In a company like Vapour, life never stops. We’re constantly innovating, iterating and exploring new ways to empower organisations with better cloud tech. We’ve worked hard to bring substance to the frustratingly over-used phrase ‘digital transformation’, and our team keeps growing as we bring some of the industry’s finest talent into the fold to help us on our mission.

But in interview after interview over the last couple of years, our CEO Tim Mercer has also spoken to journalists about how much the entire channel is changing, not just our organisation.

The days of less scrupulous firms making empty promises to businesses, are gone. So too are the ability to hide behind muddy SLAs.

Businesses are vetting their tech suppliers to the Nth degree and specialists are being sought who can truly evidence their grasp of all-things-cloud. There has never been a better time for like-minded teams in the channel to collaborate, rather than compete.

Channel partnerships have been ‘our thing’ since Vapour was first established, but in the last two years, our work with VARs and Avaya resellers has become really exciting. By collaborating with one VAR, for instance, we’ve helped them close 48% of enquiries, which translates into £5m of project work secured. And the benefits to their customers..? Probably unquantifiable.

But in truth we knew we were only really scratching the surface of what was possible. So, we’ve sharpened up our proposition, introduced even more partner benefits and wrapped everything up in a gleaming new website which better tells our story.

So, what do you think?

Across the site, we’ve added more easy-to-digest information about each of our four key cloud solutions – Höllr (voice), Sanctm (cloud), Tunnl (connectivity) and Gaze (video). We’ve focused on the difference our products can make to both our partners’ businesses and their customers’ operations. And we’ve hopefully emphasised that we’re here to do things better, in a complex channel that sometimes gets a bad rep.

We’ve tried to give an even better flavour of what makes us different too – yes we’re professional, straight talking and fiercely experienced, but we enjoy what we do and hope that makes working with us fun, in the process.

And there are new videos, graphics and splashes of colour injected throughout the site to make the whole experience just that little bit more… Vapour.

Commenting on the big reveal, our CEO Tim Mercer said: “I am so excited with what’s going on at Vapour at the moment. We’ve launched our new managed service model, we’re dealing with more blue-chip brands than ever before, and are still massively passionate about ensuring our solutions are attainable for the little guys.

“We are partner-agnostic and don’t deal with these businesses directly, so we can act as a genuine collaborator for VARs and Avaya resellers, not a threat. As soon as these players know they can trust us in this respect, it opens up a wealth of opportunity for everyone concerned.

“The unveiling of the new site represents a huge amount of behind-the-scenes efforts and an even more exciting era for the team. Watch this space for a very big 12 months indeed!”
