Getting to know Vapour – Emily Potter

At Vapour, we’re as renowned for our people as we are our robust cloud services. That’s why we regularly put one of our colleagues in the spotlight so you can learn more about their role, their skills and even their annoying habits! Next up it’s Emily Potter…

Job title

Operations and Customer Management Co-ordinator.

Describe your role in one sentence

I deliver and manage all customer orders from end-end and deal with any queries.

If there’s one word to summarise why you got the job, what would it be?

Of Vapour’s suite of cloud services, which is your favourite?

Tunnl, as it provides organisations with a reliable and efficient solution that keeps up with their busy schedule.

The phone rings and it’s your dream client – describe who it would be and what help they’d need from you…

Anthony Joshua, wanting back-up.

If we were to ask your colleagues, what would they say is your worst habit?

Collecting cups, hence the nickname Teapot.

And what are you more positively renowned for?

Going the extra mile when needed.

What are your hopes for the business over the next 12 months?

To continue to grow and support our forever-expanding customer base, correctly and efficiently.

What is the one thing you’d change about the industry?

I would like to see more women working within and leading the technical sector.

When Friday evening arrives and the weekend begins… where are we likely to find you?

Having a movie night and snuggles with my little man.

What is your dream job? (other than the one you already have of course!)

If I could stand the sight of blood, I would love to be a nurse.
