Investing in people as well as technology

Kings Secure Technologies Officer spoke to us about his latest investment in Vapour Cloud…

“Our move from an on-premise comms infrastructure to a unified cloud solution was a big leap, but we knew this had to happen as our business looks ahead to further growth. We are a 24/7 security firm, so our voice provision needs to be resilient, reliable and flexible, with robust, in-built support and disaster recovery. It needs to be future-proofed.

We were impressed by Vapour’s client base – organisations that also couldn’t tolerate any downtime – and when we saw the Storm platform, we knew this was what we needed to take our contact centre to the next level.

Very quickly we recognised that Vapour wasn’t just providing a phone system – they were delivering the foundations for us to develop our own roadmap of technological opportunities. I suppose this sums up entirely what digital transformation is about.

We’re now treading more and more into the world of AI, and we’re set to experience some massive efficiencies as a result. Of course, this translates into a better level of service for our customers too, which is what truly matters to our business.

I’ve been impressed with the depth of management information we now have at our fingertips, the flexibility of the subscription service which scales up and down to reflect the volume of work we have on, and the enthusiasm and knowledge of the Vapour team. Yes, we’ve invested in technology, but people matter in the partnerships that we develop.”
