Mitton Group is a renowned name in the building services sector, with customers ranging from B&Q to BAE Systems, and Morrisons to Mitchells & Butlers. As the growing business continues to increase its reliance on cloud technologies, high-performance connectivity becomes ever more crucial.
Bringing together a unique mix of mechanical and electrical contracting, service and maintenance aftercare as well as building and energy management divisions – plus whole building ‘total care’ expertise covering everything from interior building repairs to PAT testing – the Mitton Group is a trusted building services specialist.
Passionate about building a well-connected business, the management team first invested in a circuit – a four-site WAN – from Vapour in 2016, following a recommendation from the company’s IT provider.
Fast forward to 2021, and having encountered zero issues, Mitton Group had no intention of going elsewhere for its cloud connectivity requirements. The expanding firm simply needed more bandwidth, having continued to increase its reliance on cloud systems over the years.
In re-signing a new contract with Vapour after half a decade of working together, Mitton Group has upgraded all of its sites – including one extension – with greater bandwidth. The busy team now has 1Gb of connectivity across the board, to provide ultimate, future-proofed flexibility as the growth path continues. They have also switched to a SIP trunk phone system, utilising a fixed line also provided by Vapour.
With resilient cloud connectivity powered by Vapour’s ultra-secure MPLS network, Mitton Group has a circuit that will support its flow of data both now, and into the future.
